Best in Show “Winter Dog Show”

Please join us in a friendly fundraiser benefiting the Humane Society of Northwest Iowa (HSNWIA)! Please refer to our website to register your furry contestant and process your $10 entry fee, 100% of which will be donated to HSNWIA. Pre-registration is required. Here is the link:

Friends, family and community members are encouraged to attend to cheer on our furry friends.

*WHERE: in the large white building underneath West Boutique at Okoboji Boat Works. Walk down the hill to the brick walk and turn to your right.

*WHEN: Saturday, January 25th at 1:00PM

*CONTESTANTS: dogs are required to be up to date on the following shots: rabies, distemper and bordatella. All dogs are also required to be spayed/neutered. All dogs must be accompanied by a handler and on a leash at all times.

*JUDGING CATEGORIES (please select up to two categories when you pre-register online):
Best Hair Day
Worst Hair Day
Best Outfit
Best Trick
Waggiest Tail
Best in Show (all dogs are eligible)

*JUDGING PANEL will have representative(s) from HSNWIA, Arnold’s Bark-ery, Heartland Pet Resort and People for Pets.

*PRIZES: top winners in each category will receive bragging rights and a signed certificate. Best in Show will win a gift basket filled with items donated by Heartland Pet Resort, Arnold’s Bark-ery and Purina.

*VENDOR BOOTHS: Meet and greet local retailers offering goodies and information about what they offer for your furry family members. The following stores/organizations will be represented:
