Block Party Play

For children 5 and under.

“Block Party” is a come and go time period of fun for young children (and their grownups too) just playing and learning with blocks and other toys while socializing.
It has been said that “play is the work of children”, the library offers a place for children to “work”. The program offers many benefits that include open-ended play; allows free expression; increases the use of fine and large motors skills; and collaboration and team work to name a few! When building children are engaging in dramatic play and increasing their language and vocabulary skills.
