Full Spectrum Yoga – Chakra Series

This course format follows the spectrum of chakras and how they relate to mindfulness, emotional awareness, our daily lives, meditation, asana, eating and relaxation. The chakras according to yoga tradition are part of the the subtle body which is what you can’t see or touch—it’s where your energy flows. The subtle body is also referred to as the energy body. There are seven key points in the subtle body that are thought to be vortexes of energy, known as chakras. When energy becomes blocked in a chakra, it triggers physical, mental, or emotional imbalances that manifest in symptoms such as anxiety, lethargy, or poor digestion.

With a little bit of coaching and mindfulness, you can tap into your chakras as a potent way of harnessing and shifting your energy in the direction you want it to go. Please join me!

Each class will cover 1 or 2 chakras and include information, journaling, discussion, asana and meditation. At the end of class you will receive suggestions to help you harness your energy/chakras during your week between classes.
