Legend Series Cruise with Ed Purdy | Queen II

Take a special history themed cruise on the Queen II. This series of cruises will all focus on the history of the Iowa Great Lakes area.

Ed Purdy presents “The Spirit Lake Massacre – New Stories from a Defining Event in Iowa Great Lakes History.”
Ed, a professor emeritus of Iowa Lakes Community College, and docent at the Abbie Gardner Cabin and Museum, is a passionate expert about the Spirit Lake Massacre and its aftermath, which set the course for the development of the area. His vast knowledge, combined with a storyteller’s eye, heart, and delivery, create a not-to-be-forgotten evening.

Tickets are $16.95 for each event and may be purchased at the Arnolds Park or Queen ticket booths, or Queen II season passes may be used for all of the Legends Cruises. All Legends Series cruises begin at 7:00, except July 15th, which begins at 6:00 pm in the Hedberg Theatre.
