June 15 & 16 | Beginner Basket Weaving
This course will introduce students to the techniques of weaving
as instructors guide them through the process of making a small
basket.

June 22 & 23 | Clay Pendent Lights
Learn how to build your very own slab vase that you design and
carve to create a pendant light lampshade. Pieces will be glazed,
dry, and fired in the kiln for pick up approximately 1 1/2 weeks
after the class date.

July 6 & 7 | Textile Collage
Using felt and other variety of fabrics, students will learn how to
cut, arrange and adhere fabric strips to create a nature-inspired
collage tapestry

July 13 & 14 | Clay Coiling
Roll coils of clay to slip and score in a variety of patterns to
design and glaze a ceramic plaque. Pieces will be glazed, dry, and
fired in the kiln for pick up approximately 1 1/2 weeks after the class
date.

July 20 & 21 | Encaustic Painting on Recycled Records
Paint with warm wax by process of encaustic onto a unique
surface- vintage vinyl records! Students will explore recycling
old crayons, color mixing, and collage possibilities in this two-day
course.

July 27 & 28 | Clay Lunch Plate with Laura Turner!
Instructor Laura will lead students through the hand-building
the process to create a clay lunch plate inspired by animals and
other shapes for the inspiration for our lunch plate. Pieces will be
glazed, dry, and fired in the kiln for pick up approximately 1 1/2
weeks after the class date.

August 3 & 4 | Large Abstract Paintings on Canvas
On a 16×20″ canvas, create beautiful layers of acrylic color by
learning to acrylic pour, float, and use unique tools to create
depth. Students will add metallic detailing and bring home a
piece that is ready to hang on the wall!
