Zapoi: A collection of different vessels, mainly used for drinking
Okoboji potter Adam Nielsen has been making pots for 12 years. After studying at Kirkwood College, he rediscovered wheel throwing about 4 years ago, spending time at the wheel in the art center’s pottery studio as well as in his own home studio. Heavily influenced by Iga and Shigaraki Japanese potters, Adam’s goal is to eventually build his own wood fire kiln to continue working further into that aesthetic.
