We are seeking a Full-time Cook at Keelson Harbour, a Senior Living Community offering Assisted Living and Memory Care in Spirit Lake, IA.
Our Culinary Department is looking for a professional Cook who can help prepare and plate dishes to the menu specifications. The Cook duties will consist of assisting the Executive Chef and team of Cooks in daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction, acquisition goals, and maintaining sanitation standards.
- Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu
- Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen
- Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet health cleaning codes and standards
- Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule
Hours may vary between 6am to 6pm and required to work every other weekend.
