With the leaves changing to their breath-taking shades of colors to the glistening waters of the lakes, Okoboji is definitely the place to be this fall! The fun doesn't stop there.. It's just getting started!
Start your morning off with a stroll down Lake Street and enjoy the Farmers Market in the Park from 8:30am-1:00pm. Enjoy live music, kids activities, tasty treats and more!
The bike ride kicks off at 10:00am, but the real fun begins back at Preservation Plaza at noon. The energy will be kicked up a notch with live music from Shirts & Skins, a cover band out of Minneapolis, sponsored by Ruthven Meat Locker. You're sure to enjoy their crazy energy and amazing voices!
Oye Oye! There are so many activities to enjoy from 12:00-4:00pm. Take part in the Bean Bag Toss Tournament sponsored by KUOO, Keg Toss Competition sponsored by MHR Insurance, or test your arm strength in the Stein Holding Competition! Enjoy delicious Bavarian Food options while singing along to some of your favorite songs.
Not in the mood for competition? That's okay! Bring out your inner child with a fun ride down the 22 foot tall Hot Lava Inflatable slide, or challenge yourself with the 40 foot long inflatable obstacle course. We have so many fun games for you and your friends and family to enjoy from giant connect 4 to Hammerschlagen! Each of these activities, plus some of the Arnolds Park Amusement Park rides will be available at Preservation Plaza for you to enjoy for FREE!
Kick-Off Your Morning
BRAND NEW this year is the Farmers Market in the Park! We are so excited to have them kick off the University of Okoboji Oktoberfest fun. From 8:30am - 1:00pm enjoy farm fresh vendors, tasty treats, and so much more! Grab your breakfast fuel before the bike ride, listen to live music, and so much more! This summer event has one last hurrah before it's in hibernation for the season!
